... I was born in Wrocław in 1961. I was studying at the medical department of the Medical Academy of Wrocław in 1979- 1985.I completed my internship in 1986 and started working in the fourth surgical ward of Ludwik Rydygier’s Hospital in Wrocław ( the consultant and assistant professor Leopold Oleszkiewicz).In 1988 I achieved specialization grade I in general surgery (supervisor: Mirosław Nienartowicz, M.D.)In the same year I started working in the plastic surgery ward of the railway hospital in Wrocław ( the consultant, Zygmunt Kratochwil, M.D.) and continued it up to 1994.The same year I achieved specialization grade II in plastic surgery (supervisor: Tadeusz Myczkowski, M.D.) and started working in the dermatological surgery ward of the dermatological and venereologic clinic. I have worked here as the consultant, so far. In 1996, after the defence of my doctor thesis in plastic surgery I achieved the degree of doctor of medicine in plastic surgery(promotor: assistant professor Andrzej Wall, M.D. an author of 64 published scientific papers and conference reports).
My professional career is fulfilled with many foreign travels, during of them I visit the local plastic surgery centres, in this way, having the possibility of knowing their work.

My duties in the Dermatological Surgery Ward at the Clinic of Dermatology at Medical Academy of Wrocław include the surgical treatment of neoplasms and pre-neoplastic conditions of the skin, the operational treatment of non-neoplastic dermatological diseases, treatment of post-traumatic, post-scalding deformities and some congenital malformations. I have been a private medical practice on esthetical surgery since 1990.

In 2000 together with other plastic surgeons from Wroclaw (see: doctors) I have opened the Private Plastic Surgery Centre that focuses on cosmetic surgery issues.
